Posted on March 30th, 2011 by admin in how to webcast | No Comments »

Agile Business Webcast Series – http://www.agilejournal.com
Despite dedicated and repeated efforts by software teams to ensure that automated tests are easy to write, run, and read, system tests are often brittle, tedious, and slow. This issue becomes even more critical for teams that have adopted Agile methodologies. Testing continues to be a serious drain on both human and computer resources and presents an obstacle to effective agile development.

Join us on this Web seminar to learn how the world’s most innovative and agile development organizations have come to understand how automated system test harnesses evolve and identifies three universal challenges to improving test harnesses:

* Provisioning and configuring the target environment
* Efficiently automating the invocation of complex test suites
* Transforming volumes of test result data into actionable metrics

QA and testing managers, development and engineering managers, release managers, CM managers, and software development executives will learn how these development organizations refactored their test infrastructures to address these problems and achieved dramatic breakthroughs in test throughput and efficiency.

DVD Writers: Choose From External And Internal Options

Today, most people have made the shift over to using Digital Versatile Disks (DVDs). Whenever they wish to view a movie or listen to their favorite music they place a DVD into a player capable of reading DVDs.

Make Your Own Copies

You can also watch movies in a more novel way and that is to copy movies from the original DVD to a blank DVD or even to your computers hard disk. Essentially, DVD writers are devices that help you to copy content from a source to a different destination. Because of the growing need to copy content most modern computer systems come with their own in-built DVD writers.

DVD tracks are extremely narrow and usually not more than 0.74 microns in width which of course is a lot less than what is found in a normal CD. Whats more, DVDs are more accurate and error corrections features are also very superior, and because DVD writers use laser technologies they are easily able to also read and write CDs in addition to the DVD.
There are different types of DVD writers being sold on the market today with the two main types being external and internal DVD writers with each having their own set of independent features.
Today, when you buy DVD writers you will be pleasantly surprised to find that companies that are manufacturing such writers also will provide you with much software that helps make your experience in using DVD writers that much better and more beneficial.
